Glass Density Measurement Tester Floatation Density Comparator Ceramics Apparent Density Measuring Machine
I. Usage
The LR-A338 float comparison density meter is a density testing instrument designed and manufactured in accordance with the national standard GB/T14901-2008 "Glass Density Measurement - Float Comparison Method". It can be used to measure the density values of glass or other solid materials with no pores within the range of 1.1 to 3.3 g/cm³, and can also be used to measure the apparent density of ceramics or solid materials with known porosity.
II. Measurement method
After reaching the set temperature, the instrument can automatically calculate and display the density value of the standard sample.
III. Instrument composition
The LR-A338 float comparison density meter consists of the following components:
1. A glass water bath with a capacity of 5000 mL.
2. One 40W circular lamp tube.
3. A magnetic stirrer with a speed range of 0 to 1500 r/min, with a power of 25W.
4. One electric heater with a variable resistor, with a power of 300W.
5. Five 100 mL glass test tubes.
6. One dual-probe high-precision digital thermometer.
