1. Introduction
Using a visual optical system composed of high-speed cameras and
powerful software, the Vision System can accurately measure the
waveform curve of the glass surface on a horizontal tempered
production line, thereby calculating the waveform bend, bow bend,
edge warping and corresponding power (milliphotometers) of the
glass, and evaluating the flatness of the glass by the peak and
valley value (PV value) of the wave bend, and evaluating the
optical deformation of the glass. Through real-time measurement of
these parameters, glass plants can optimize the tempering process
and produce high-quality glass that meets leading architectural
design specifications. Meanwhile, the system can measure the length
and width dimensions of the glass online.
