1. Preface
The contact angle refers to the tangent line formed at the intersection of gas, liquid, and solid at the gas-liquid interface. This tangent forms an angle θ between the liquid side and the solid-liquid boundary. Measuring the contact angle is currently the main method for detecting surface properties. The LR-SDC-200S research based contact angle measurement instrument utilizes optical imaging principles and employs image contour analysis to measure surface contact angle, wettability, interfacial tension, forward and backward angles, surface energy, and other properties. 2. Instrument Application Field
Contact angle measuring instruments are widely used in various fields, such as mobile phone manufacturing, glass manufacturing, surface treatment, material research, chemical engineering, semiconductor manufacturing, coatings and inks, electronic circuits, textile fibers, medical biology, etc. Contact angle measurement has become an important instrument for evaluating surface performance. 3. Principle
As shown in the above figure, the contact angle measuring instrument mainly consists of a light source, an injection unit, a sample stage, a collection system, an overall tilt platform, and analysis software. This device adopts the principle of optical imaging.
The light source adopts the design of dense LED cold light with uniform luminescence, image cleaning and long service life.
The injection unit adopts high precision injection pump, controlled by software quantitative and constant speed, stable drop, high precision;
The sample table adopts 3d manual fine-tuning platform, which is flexible in operation and accurate in positioning. The sample table can be customized according to the actual sample size.
The acquisition system adopts a black-and-white imported CCD camera, which can take stable pictures, make the images clear and reliable. The lens is equipped with German industrial import configuration, with adjustable magnification of 0.7-4.5 times and no distortion in the imaging.
