Product Introduction

The OMRON E2EY-X8C1 is an aluminum-detecting proximity sensor with a built-in amplifier. It features a shielded, M30 cylindrical (screwed) sensing head with an 8mm ±10% sensing distance. It can detect non-ferrous metals like aluminum, copper, and brass but not ferrous metals. Equipped with a red LED indicator for easy visibility, it uses a DC 3-wire NPN NO output

Applications

Widely used in industrial automation fields such as metal processing, food and beverage, packaging machinery, material handling, and electronics manufacturing. It can detect specific material cans and separate products on pallets via aluminum sheets
