I.Overview
Ultrafiltration (UF) system is mainly used as the pretreatment unit
of Reverse Osmosis (RO) in seawater desalination, which is used to
efficiently remove suspended solids, colloids, algae and
microorganisms from seawater, significantly reduce the risk of
contamination of RO membrane, and improve the stability and
efficiency of the overall system. As the “guardian” of RO, the
system's stability and economy are greatly improved through
efficient pretreatment.
Its core value lies in: safeguarding RO membrane safety (reduce the
risk of contamination, extend the life), energy saving and
environmental protection (reduce chemicals, compatible with energy
recovery), and adapting to complex water quality (high algae, high
turbidity seawater can be treated).
II.Typical Process Flow
Conventional Desalination Pretreatment Process :
Seawater → Sieve Filtration (1~5 mm) → Coagulation (optional) →
Ultrafiltration → Reverse Osmosis → Post-treatment
(Mineralization/pH Adjustment)
Submerged ultrafiltration (S-UF) process :
seawater → self-cleaning filter → submerged ultrafiltration →
security filter → RO
Integrated energy recovery system :
seawater → UF → high-pressure pump → RO → energy recovery unit
(e.g. PX) → produced water
III.Core Attribute Parameters

V.Here is a guideline for you to get a proper quotation
Tell us the raw water/source of water(tap water, well water, or sea
water, etc)
Provide water analysis report(TDS , conductivity, or resistivity,
etc)
Required production capacity( 5m³/H, 50m³/H,or 500m³/H, etc)
What's the pure water used for( industrial,Food and Beverage,or
agriculture, etc )
