The Cisco ASR1002 is a modular aggregation services router that
delivers high-performance, scalable WAN edge routing with support
for advanced services such as IPsec VPN, firewall, deep packet
inspection, and QoS. With support for SPA (Shared Port Adapter)
modules, it offers flexibility in interface configurations for
enterprise edge, managed services, and service provider networks.
It supports throughput from 2.5 Gbps up to 10 Gbps, depending on
the ESP module installed.
