COFDM Modulator with Encoder

The 4K COFDM video transmitter module is composed of two modules: the COFDM modulator and 4K video encoder, which is connected by 26-pin FPC ribbon cable between the two modules. Achieving the highest 4K (3840*2160@30) video input, H265/H264 low-latency encoding. It also supports IP Camera video input and transmitted after COFDM modulation.


Interface Function Description of COFDM video transmitter module
HDMI inStandard Type A HDMI connector, capable of supporting up to 4K (3840*2160@30) video input with H265/H264 low-latency encoding.
Ethernet4 pin PH1.25mm connector, support simultaneous connection of IP camera and HDMI input video for COFDM modulation and transmission together. The parameters of the COFDM module can also be configured via the Ethernet port connection to the computer by Web UI. The default IP address is 192.168.0.215.
Data Uart3PIN PH1.25mm connector, bidirectional transparent data uart, TTL 3.3V level, transmission baud rate and other parameters can be configured.
Control Uart4PIN PH1.25mm connector, TTL 3.3V level, it can be connected to the host computer or our configuration control board for management of the COFDM transmitter module.
Analog Audio in3PIN PH1.25mm connector, capable of connecting analog audio input and video for simultaneous encoding and transmission. Default configuration is HDMI audio input, or it can be configured as HDMI input for video, and this audio input port for analog audio. The audio is encoded as AAC, 16-bit, mono, 48 Kbps. Line in/Mic in can be configured via software.
Power in2PIN PH2.0mm connector, supports reverse connection protection for power input, power input range is 7 to 30V. The maximum power consumption of the COFDM transmitter module is 5W. Maximum current is 400mA at 12V.

Paired COFDM receiver module


When the HC-T4K COFDM transmitter module and the HD5 receiver module are operating in the H264 or H265 4K mode, the latency from the 4K HDMI input at the transmitter to the 4K HDMI display at the receiver is approximately 350ms.
