Comparison between DTG and DTF
DTG refers to direct to garment printing, also known as textile direct printing, which directly sprays ink on the substrate. It has the characteristics of no opening, no word picking, and bright colors, and can be printed directly without heating through the adhesive film. The advent of DTG has enabled the vigorous development of customized and cultural innovation industries, and achieved the advantages of a small amount of printing, low cost, and high efficiency;
DTF refers to the digital direct-to-film printing, which uses the transfer paper with release and uses the characteristics of hot-melt adhesive powder adhering to the ink to automatically locate the hot-melt adhesive powder and create a printing method without cutting and picking words. The graphics on the transfer paper can be transferred to clothes through the heat transfer machine. DTF can easily overcome even the dark cloth printing that is difficult to deal with by DTG.
