Stair handrails are an indispensable part of stairs. Of course, we must also pay attention to the installation of stair handrails when selecting and installing stairs. The installation of stair handrails is a highly technical process. The installation must be firm, the position is correct, the corner cutting line is accurate and neat, the seam is tight, the slope is consistent, the bonding is firm and smooth, the nut is flat, and the wall size is the same.

1. The railings and embedded parts of the fixed handrails are not firm.

Consequences The installation of the handrail is not firmly fixed due to the installation of the railing and the embedded parts of the fixed handrail, which are not firm, and there is a serious safety hazard.

Measures (1) Before installing the handrail, check whether the embedded parts (wood bricks or iron parts) for installing and fixing the handrail are firm and whether there is looseness. The wooden handrail wall should be treated with anti-corrosion.

(2) Check whether the railings are securely installed. There should be a tension point between the railing against the wall and the wall; there should be connecting pieces between the up and down railings to achieve stability.

(3) The depth of the wooden handrail should be more than 10cm and be fixed firmly.

(4) The bonding material used for bonding wooden handrails should be carefully checked to see if it is qualified and the bonding is firm.

2. The wooden handrails of the stairs are not tightly bonded and cracked.

The resulting wooden handrail is generally made of hard miscellaneous wood. After installation, it is required to be smooth, smooth and firmly fixed. However, improper handling and poor bonding of the handrail joints will cause uneven joints and cracking of the handrails, which will not only affect the aesthetics of the decoration, but also lead to inconvenience in use.

Measures (1) The material specification, size and shape of the wooden handrail material should be in accordance with the design requirements. The wood material should be smooth in texture and consistent in color, and should not have defects such as decay, knots, cracks and distortions, and the moisture content should not exceed 12%.

(2) Check the slope, corner shape and size of the handrail before installation, and correct the problem in time.

(3) The wooden handrail is installed from the bottom to the top, and the starting elbow is first arranged according to the slope of the handrail. Generally, if the width of the wooden handrail is less than 70mm, the elbow can be prepared with the handrail material, and the 45° angle section is used for bonding. At least three screws must be connected and fixed with the support in the bonding section of the broken block; the handrail with a width greater than 70mm, the joint In addition to bonding, it should also be used as a hidden tenon at the bottom, and it can also be riveted with iron.

(4) The stair handrail in the advanced decoration adopts a whole elbow. The overall elbow should be a full-scale model, and the elbow material should be marked according to the template.

(5) When the joint is bonded with a 45' angle section, the adhesive that meets the requirements should be used, and the temperature of the operating environment should be paid attention to.

(6) The installation and bonding are firm. After refurbishment and planing, a primer should be applied to prevent discoloration due to moisture.

3. The groove depth at the bottom of the stair handrail is inconsistent, the flat steel or fixing parts of the railing are not flat, and the plastic handrail is not well connected.

Consequences due to the inconsistent groove depth at the bottom of the handrail, the uneven flat steel or fixing parts of the railing, and the poor welding and butt joint of the plastic handrail, the uneven connection of the stair handrail will affect the look and feel and use effect.

Measures (1) Before installing the handrail, check whether the flat steel of the railing or the fixing parts is flat, especially the welding seam should be ground flat.

(2) The groove under the elbow should be tightly combined with the railing flat steel and must not be loose.

(3) The grooves on the bottom surface of the handrail are of the same depth, and the handrail and the flat steel are tightened with wood screws, and the distance should not be greater than 400mm, and the hammer should not be directly driven.

(4) The plastic handrail welding seam is welded with a plastic electrode, the filling seam should be full, and the height of the welding seam should be the same.

The installation of the stair handrail is mainly divided into seven steps:

1. First fix the top and bottom columns, then draw a straight line on the top between the two columns, put the middle column on the steps, and then use a marker to draw a hole in the column fixing hole mark, and then drill holes to secure the posts.

2. If it is the ground where the floor tiles have been laid, you can use a glass drill to make holes first. Before drilling, you can use plasticine to make a circle around the hole that needs to be taken, so as to store water and make better holes. After the glass drill is drilled, use a 12 mm diameter impact drill to drill the hole. If the foundation is made of wood, use self-tapping screws to directly fix the column.

3. Wear wire drawing. If the diameter is over 12mm for drawing, you can use a special tool for drawing the bender to hold the bend. When threading the wire, first measure the position of the wire-drawing bend, and then thread it after holding the bend. You can put the wire-threading hole on the wire, and wait for the wire to be placed in place. Then fix the thread hole on the column.

4. Fix the armrest: first measure the place that needs to be bent, and heat the hot-bending blanket for 15-20 minutes while holding the armrest that needs to be bent, and the armrest can be bent when it becomes soft. Then remove the hot bending blanket, put the handrail on the column, and use the warm towel prepared in advance to cool the handrail, let the handrail shape along the curvature, and wipe it repeatedly until the handrail is shaped. If there are scratches on the surface of the handrail, the scratches can be removed by wiping with a heating blanket after heating.

5. After fixing the handrail, install the handrail plug and wire drawing plug, and tighten the top wire that needs to be tightened, and that's it.

6. If you need to connect the handrail and the wall, you should mark the place where the handrail and the wall are in contact, draw a circle, and then punch a hole in the center to drive the plastic expansion tube into the wall, punch a hole in the center of the handrail plug, and put the handrail The plug is fastened on the expansion pipe with self-tapping screws and close to the wall, and then the handrail is put into the handrail plug.

7. Note that the handrails are installed from the top to the bottom.
