What is tin plating? Tin electroplating, also referred to as electro-tinning, is a type
of surface treatment process. It produces a metallic coating of tin
on the surface of metal components. We produce the coating in one
of two electrolytes. One option is an alkaline solution producing a
matt pure tin finish. What is tin plate used for? Tinplate is used for making all types of containers such as food
cans, beverage cans, 18-liter cans, and artistic cans. Its
applications are not limited to containers; recently, tinplate has
also been used for making electrical machinery parts and many other
