Working Principle:
The material falls into the center of the grinding disc through the
feeding tube, and the grinding disc rotating at a constant speed
uses centrifugal force to evenly disperse and flatten the material
outward, forming a certain thickness of material bed. Under the
drive of the grinding disc, the material is pushed onto the roller
conveyor of the grinding device and crushed by the rolling of the
grinding roller. Under the action of centrifugal force, the
pulverized coal powder overflows from the edge of the grinding disc
and is carried by the high-speed upward hot air flow from the
nozzle ring (air ring). Large particles directly fall onto the
grinding disc for re grinding. When the material in the airflow
passes through the upper separator, the coarse powder will return
to the grinding disc for grinding under the action of the rotating
rotor, and the qualified fine powder will enter the dust collector
with the airflow and be collected into products.
Structural composition
Host: composed of grinding rollers, grinding discs, reducers, motors,
etc., it is the core part of coal powder grinding. The grinding
roller rolls on the grinding disc, crushing and crushing the
material.
Separators: used to grade the ground coal powder, allowing the coal powder
that meets the fineness requirements to pass through, and the
unqualified coarse powder to return to the grinding disc for
further grinding.
Hot air system: Provides hot air to dry the moisture in coal powder and bring the
ground coal powder out of the mill. Hot air usually comes from kiln
tail gas or hot blast stove.
Feeding system: including coal feeder, discharge pipe, etc., responsible for
evenly feeding raw coal into the mill.
Dust collection system: collects coal powder, purifies exhaust gas,
and ensures that the production environment meets environmental
protection requirements. Common dust collection equipment includes
bag filters, electrostatic precipitators, etc.
Control system: Real time monitoring and control of the operating
parameters of the mill to ensure its stable operation.

Performance characteristics
Efficient and energy-saving: Compared with traditional ball mills, coal powder vertical mills
have higher grinding efficiency and lower energy consumption. It
adopts the principle of material bed grinding, which shortens the
residence time of materials in the mill, reduces repeated grinding,
and improves grinding efficiency.
Strong drying ability: It can use hot air stoves or kiln exhaust gases as heat sources to
dry materials while grinding, and can handle raw coal with high
moisture content, generally drying raw coal with moisture content
up to 15%.
Stable product quality: The separator can accurately control the fineness of coal powder,
making the product particle size uniform, which is conducive to
improving combustion efficiency. Moreover, the airflow velocity
inside the mill is high, and the material stays in the mill for a
short time, making it easy to detect and control product quality.
Small footprint: compact structure, simple system, occupying about 50% less space
than ball mill system, with less infrastructure investment.
Low noise and dust: Adopting a fully sealed system, it operates with low noise and
dust, meeting environmental protection requirements.
