Description
Limestone is a common building material widely used in industries
such as construction, engineering, and metallurgy. In order to meet
market demand, limestone needs to be ground to obtain the required
particle size and fineness.
It can be widely used in industries such as power, metallurgy,
cement, chemical, non-metallic minerals, etc. It is mainly used for
grinding and processing raw materials such as cement, clinker,
desulfurization limestone powder in power plants, slag micro
powder, manganese ore, gypsum, coal, barite, calcite, bauxite, etc.
Vertical grinding machine is a commonly used equipment, and the
following is its process flow for processing limestone.
Firstly, after initial crushing, the limestone is transported to
the feed inlet of the vertical mill. The vertical grinding machine
has a large feeding port and a high-efficiency crushing device,
which can crush larger block shaped limestone particles into
smaller particles, preparing for subsequent grinding.
Next, the crushed limestone particles enter the grinding chamber of
the vertical mill. This grinding chamber is equipped with a set of
grinding stones or grinding discs that grind limestone particles
through rotation and rolling. The grinding chamber of the vertical
grinding machine is also equipped with a grading device, which can
separate fine powder and coarse powder by adjusting the device
parameters according to the required powder particle size. During
the grinding process, the vertical grinding machine takes limestone
particles out of the grinding chamber through a negative pressure
fan. The function of the fan is to generate negative pressure,
introduce limestone particles into the airflow, and transport them
to the classifier. In the classifier, finer powder is carried into
the dust collector by the force of the airflow, while coarser
particles are further ground and returned to the grinding chamber
to obtain finer powder.
Later, the powder processed by the classifier and dust collector is
transported to the storage equipment or packaging device. According
to actual needs, limestone powder can be stored, packaged, and
sold.
Limestone Vertical Roller Mill Working principle:
The electric motor drives the grinding disc to rotate through the
reducer, and the material falls into the center of the grinding
disc from the feeding port. At the same time, hot air enters the
grinding chamber from the inlet. Under the action of centrifugal
force, the material moves towards the edge of the grinding disc and
is crushed by the grinding roller when passing through the circular
groove on the grinding disc. The crushed material is carried up by
the high-speed airflow at the wind ring at the edge of the grinding
disc, and large particles directly fall onto the grinding disc for
re grinding. When the material in the airflow passes through the
dynamic and static separator, under the action of the rotating
rotor, the coarse powder falls onto the grinding disc for re
grinding, and the qualified fine powder is discharged with the
airflow, Collecting in the powder collection device is the product.
Materials containing moisture are dried during contact with hot
gases to achieve the required product moisture.
