The pneumatic conveying silo pump adopts a positive pressure
pneumatic conveying method to transport powdered materials, and is
widely used for conveying materials such as fly ash, cement, cement
raw materials, mineral powder, etc. in power plants. The
transportation pipeline can be flexibly arranged according to the
terrain conditions, achieving centralized, dispersed, high
altitude, and long-distance transportation. The transportation
process is not affected by natural conditions, ensuring that
materials are not affected by moisture and are environmentally
friendly and pollution-free. This equipment adopts a PLC control
system, which can be automatically or manually controlled. After
long-term practical operation, it has been proven that the
equipment has stable performance, reliable quality, and no dust
pollution during transportation. It is an ideal pneumatic conveying
equipment.
Positive pressure concentrated phase pneumatic conveying bin pump
principle
There are two unloading methods for silo pumps, with bottom
discharge being the most commonly used method. The materials in the
tank are fluidized through a conical inflatable tank, nozzle jet,
or other methods; Setting a fluidized inflation plate (layer) at
the bottom can allow the material to be discharged from the upper
part of the tank. The distribution of transported gas on different
input planes in the tank depends on the properties of the
transported material.
The silo pump conveying is a discontinuous conveying process (see
attached figure). This figure shows a standard silo pump with inlet
and outlet valves, material delivery pipelines, air input
pipelines, and a silo. Before the feeding of the silo pump, the
silo is filled with the conveyed material, and all valves are
closed. The entire working process is as follows:
(1) Open the feed valve and exhaust valve, and the bin pump will
feed at atmospheric pressure until the horizontal level gauge sends
a signal indicating the full bin;
(2) Close the feed valve and exhaust valve, and then open the
high-pressure air valve to pressurize the tank;
(3) When the operating pressure is reached, open the delivery air
valve and discharge valve, and the material begins to be delivered;
(4) The conveying end is displayed by the pressure switch, level
gauge, or time relay. At this point, close the high-pressure air
valve and discharge valve, so that all compressed air is used to
clean the conveying pipeline; Simultaneously open the exhaust valve
to reduce the pressure inside the tank to normal pressure.
After one work cycle is completed, the other cycle continues.
The working principle of the electric gate valve is to receive
control commands and electrically open the gate valve for ash
discharge.

Main Features
1. High energy efficiency
Due to the reasonable fluidization structure, good material
fluidization state, and significantly lower gas consumption
compared to similar products, our company has made multiple
improvements to the fluidization structure after years of
production and research, greatly improving production efficiency
and reducing energy consumption.
2. High material to gas ratio
Good fluidization effect, low gas consumption, and higher material
to gas ratio. Through laboratory testing, the equivalent distance
is within 500 meters, and the material to gas ratio reaches over
30Kg (ash)/Kg (gas).
3. Low material flow rate
Due to low air consumption and high material to gas ratio, the
material moves in a partial flow in the pipeline, achieving dynamic
and static pressure transportation. Therefore, the flow rate during
material transportation is low, the wear of equipment valves and
pipelines is small, and the service life of vulnerable parts is
long.
4. Strong adjustment function
Equipped with various adjustment methods such as primary and
secondary air intake regulation, the system can operate under the
optimal air consumption ratio and excellent fluidization state.
5. Unique blockage removal method
Our company adopts a reverse suction blockage removal method, which
is simple, easy to operate, and operates reasonably. We only need
to introduce the material and gas mixture to the silo or flue inlet
through the blockage removal valve and pipeline.
6. Easy to solve supporting facilities
Due to its low gas consumption and low speed, the material and gas
separation and filtration equipment in the silo can be smaller than
those equipped with general silo pumps, resulting in less air
pollution.
7. Low energy consumption coefficient
The energy consumption coefficient of our warehouse pump conveying
system is below 65KW. h/t. m.
8. High degree of automation
The programmable logic controller (PLC) control system is adopted,
and the entire working process can be fully automated. The system
can be set to automatic or manual operation mode. The main control
cabinet is installed in the system control room.
