In the pneumatic conveying industry, the air flow conveying system
can be divided into three core systems, namely rotary valve
conveying, silo pump conveying, and material seal pump conveying.
In recent years, the warehouse pump dense phase conveying system
has been more widely used in various industries. Whether it is in
cement pneumatic conveying, fly ash pneumatic conveying, white
carbon black pneumatic conveying in the chemical industry, titanium
dioxide pneumatic conveying, and so on. Both can be pneumatically
transported using a silo pump.
Brief introduction
Bin pumps can also be referred to as warehouse type conveying
pumps, warehouse type pumps, powder pneumatic conveying pumps,
dense phase conveying pumps, etc. Bin pumps is one of many pressure
vessels. So the manufacturer of the bin pump must have the
corresponding pressure vessel qualification certificate before
proceeding with production and manufacturing. After the
installation of valves and other accessories, the powder pneumatic
conveying pump must undergo a pressure test before the equipment is
shipped. Add compressed air to the bin pump, and the pressure limit
of each type of dense phase delivery pump is different. The
pressure test is to pressurize the gas to the pressure limit of the
bin pump, and wait for 2 hours. Observe that there are no
abnormalities in the pump body, valves, and pipelines of the
warehouse pump. Only after passing the experiment can the equipment
be shipped to the production site for operation and use.
Operational principle
The process of dense phase pneumatic conveying requires the
interaction and coordination of the feed valve, exhaust valve,
inlet valve, and discharge valve, which can cause significant wear
on the valve. The system is in a feeding state, where the feeding
valve and exhaust valve are opened, the inlet valve and outlet
valve are closed, and the material falls into the dense phase pump
under the action of gravity; When one or more level gauges in the
pump are covered or the set feeding time is reached, the feeding
valve and exhaust valve are closed; After the inlet and exhaust
valves are closed and the inflation seal is completed, the inlet
and outlet valves are opened, and the material enters the pipeline
for transportation. When there are two or more end receiving bins,
a directional valve, also known as a pneumatic shunt valve, is
required.
The bin pump conveying system generally uses an air compressor as the overall conveying system gas source, and the bin pump serves as the feeding device. The materials fall into the feeding device from the silo, and high-pressure gas is input into the conveying pipeline to fully mix the gas and materials, making the materials fluidized. Then, the gas is transported to the end receiving silo through high-pressure air flow. The gas is filtered by the separation device and discharged into the atmosphere, suitable for long-distance and large conveying conditions;
System advantages: low flow rate, low wear, less crushing, low energy consumption,
and intermittent conveying.
The system has a high degree of automation, microcomputer control,
dynamic display of operating conditions, fault alarm, sensitive
response, complete processing functions, remote and manual
functions, and flexible, convenient, and reliable operation and
management.
