Vertical mill, abbreviated as vertical mill, is a grinding
equipment that integrates crushing, drying, grinding, grading, and
conveying. Other grinding equipment, such as Raymond mill and ball
mill, have disadvantages such as low single machine production
capacity, high production cost, serious pollution, large floor
area, and inconvenient maintenance. For medium to large scale
grinding production lines, vertical grinding machines are a more
suitable equipment.
Specifically, the advantages of vertical grinding machines compared
to other grinding equipment include:
1. The production efficiency is improved, and the grinding force
can be increased through hydraulic pressure boosting, thereby
increasing production.
2. The production accuracy has been improved. According to the
different particle size requirements of the finished product, the
powder selection machine adopts cage type powder selection machine
and conical rotor powder selection machine, which have high powder
selection accuracy.
3. It has a small floor area and integrates crushing, drying,
grinding, grading, and conveying, with a compact layout.
4. The production process is mature and focuses on the three major
fields of non-metallic ore, coal powder, and slag. It can be
suitable for grinding raw materials and clinker, and can also be
used as pre grinding equipment to greatly increase production and
save energy for subsequent mills.
5. Reduced operating costs
(1) Reduce energy consumption, the grinding roller directly crushes

roller sleeve to avoid direct contact between the grinding roller
and the grinding plate, reducing wear. The grinding roller sleeve

6. Reduction of noise and dust pollution
Working principle: The electric motor drives the grinding disc to rotate through a
reducer, and the material falls into the center of the grinding
disc from the feeding port. At the same time, hot air enters the
grinding chamber from the air inlet. Under the action of
centrifugal force, materials move towards the edge of the grinding
plate. When passing through the circular groove on the grinding
plate, they are crushed by the grinding roller. The crushed
materials are picked up by the Jet stream at the wind ring at the
edge of the grinding plate. Large particles fall directly onto the
grinding plate for grinding again. When the materials in the
airflow pass through the dynamic and static separator, under the
action of the rotating rotor, the coarse powder falls onto the
grinding plate for grinding again. The qualified fine powder is
grinded together with the airflow, Collect in the powder collection
device, which is the product. Materials containing moisture are
dried during contact with hot gases to achieve the required product
moisture.
