Difference between PLA and CPLA material

CPLA is PLA modified material.

PLA doesn’t offer high heat tolerance, and can tolerate only up to 110 °F, thus PLA cutlery is suitable for cold food, and beverages.

CPLA has higher heat tolerance, even up to 212 °F, so CPLA cutlery is best for hot food.

Similarities between PLA and CPLA material

Both come from plant base material, 100% compostable.
