A vertical axis wind turbine (or VAWT) has a main rotor shaft
arranged vertically. An advantage of this arrangement is that the
turbine does not need to be pointed into the wind to be effective,
which is an advantage in locations where the wind direction is
highly variable. This is also an advantage when the turbine is
integrated into a building, as it is inherently less maneuverable.
Additionally, the generator and gearbox can be placed close to the
ground, using direct drive from the rotor assembly to the ground
gearbox, improving maintenance accessibility.
Wind turbines generate renewable energy when the forces acting on the turbine blades cause the generator to spin to produce clean electricity. Compared with traditional design models, this paper proposes a novel lantern-type wind turbine design. Coarse and fine mesh based simulations were compared and all results converged. The results show that the pressure differential across the surface of the newly designed lantern-shaped wind turbine is much higher than that of conventional wind turbines. Prototypes have been fabricated and experimental results will be discussed in another future publication

A1: Very easy.Every customer can do it by themselves.We will supply

Q2: Distance between wind turbine,controller and battery?
A2: Normally,it will be better within 10 meters from wind turbine
to controller,and controller to batteries.The distance between
batteries and inverter is within 20-50 meters.
Q3: For horizontal wind turbines vs vertical wind turbines,which
kind of efficiency is better?
A3: For same watts and same wind speed,the output of horizontal
wind turbines is more efficient than that of vertical wind
turbines.But if the wind speed is very slowly,we suggest you to use
our vertical SS type.If the wind speed is over 8 m/s,our wind
turbine are also with around 80-90% efficiency.The popular points
is there is no noise.
