Working principle: Polyurethane buffers utilize the special micro-porous bubble
structure of polyurethane material to absorb energy and cushion.
During impact, it acts like a spring with multiple air cushions for
damping When the elevator cabin or counterweight is impacted for
various reasons, the polyurethane buffer absorbs and dissipates the
impact energy through its compression deformation, converting
impact potential energy into elastic potential energy, thus acting
as a decelerator, buffer, and energy absorber, reducing harm to
passengers or goods inside the cabin.
Performance features
Light weight: Compared to other types of shock absorbers, such as metal spring shock absorbers, polyurethane shock absorbers are significantly lighter, making them easier to install and maintain.
Easy to install: no complex installation equipment or technology required, can be directly installed on the side of the counterweight and directly below the side of the cabin in the elevator pit.
No maintenance: Under normal use, the polyurethane buffer does not require regular maintenance, reducing the elevator's maintenance cost.
Good cushioning effect: It can effectively absorb and dissipate the impact energy generated by the elevator cabin or counter weight collision, making the elevator's deceleration process smoother and reducing the impact on the elevator and passengers.
Good shock and compression resistance: can withstand multiple high-intensity impacts and quickly recover to its original state after compression, maintaining excellent cushioning performance.
