Working principle
LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) LCD Monitor
LCD is a passive display device. Its basic principle is to use the physical characteristics of liquid crystal, liquid crystal molecules will change the arrangement under different electric fields. Inside the display, there is a backlight source (usually a cold cathode fluorescent tube CCFL or an LED light bar). The light is emitted from the backlight source and passes through components such as a liquid crystal layer and a polarizer. When the arrangement of the liquid crystal molecules changes, the polarization direction of the light is changed, thereby controlling the transmission and blocking of the light and realizing the image display. For example, when the black part is to be displayed, the liquid crystal molecules will adjust the arrangement to block the light from passing through; And when the white part is displayed, the light is allowed to pass through.

TFT belongs to active matrix liquid crystal display, which is improved on the basis of LCD. The TFT display integrates a thin film transistor (TFT) behind each liquid crystal pixel. By applying different voltage signals to the TFT, the brightness and color of each pixel can be independently controlled, achieving high-quality image display. For example, when displaying a color image, the TFT can accurately adjust the brightness of the red, green, and blue sub-pixels according to the input signal to combine various colors.
