- Decoration field: indoor guardrails, handrails, door and window frames, furniture brackets, and other dry indoor environments.
- General structural components: mechanical equipment brackets, casings, etc. that require strength but not high corrosion resistance.
- Low demand fluid transportation: transporting non corrosive or weakly corrosive media (such as air, water vapor, oil) and non critical pipeline systems that are cost sensitive.
- Automotive exhaust pipe system: Some car mufflers or tailpipes use 202 stainless steel because it can withstand certain high temperatures and has low cost.
