Description:

UNS S32109 is an iron-based alloy with a minimum chromium content of 18%. The addition of chromium gives this metal its high corrosion resistance properties, whilst other elements like titanium, molybdenum, and nickel further enhance its strength. Its composition also adds to its ability to resist oxidation at elevated temperatures.Grade 347H stainless steel can be welded using most of the resistance and fusion methods. Oxyacetylene welding is not preferred for this steel.Grade 347H stainless steel can be annealed at temperature ranging from 1010 to 1193°C (1850 to 2000°F) and then quenched with water.
