Product Details
TGS6810 Gas Sensor For Residential LNG and LPG Alarms
Product Uses:
- Residential LNG and LPG Alarms: It is mainly used in home gas
safety monitoring systems to detect the leakage of liquefied
natural gas (LNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and send out
alarms in time to ensure the safety of residents.
- LNG and LPG Detectors: Applied in industrial or commercial
environments for the detection of LNG and LPG, such as in gas
storage facilities, filling stations, and other places to monitor
the concentration of gas to prevent gas leakage and potential
safety hazards.
Product Features:
- Linear Output: The sensor provides a linear analog output that is
proportional to the gas concentration, which makes it easier to
process and analyze the detected gas concentration data, and is
convenient for subsequent signal processing and display.
- Long Life: With an expected service life of 10 years in a normal
indoor environment, it has high durability and stability, reducing
the frequency of sensor replacement and maintenance costs.
- Small Sensitivity to Alcohol: Due to the presence of an adsorbent
inside the sensor cap, its cross - sensitivity to alcohol is very
small, which can avoid false alarms caused by the presence of
alcohol in the environment, such as cooking fumes or alcohol -
containing substances in the air.
- Sensitive to Both Methane and LP Gas: It has high sensitivity to
methane and liquefied petroleum gas (LP gas), and can effectively
detect the leakage of these two common combustible gases, with a
detection range of 0 - 100% LEL of each gas.
- Fail - Safe Design: Different from conventional catalytic type
sensors, the output of this sensor in the presence of gas tends to
increase over time. This is achieved by changing the material and
bead size between the detector element and the compensator element,
which can reduce the risk of no alarm in case of gas leakage.
- High Durability to Silicone Vapor and SO₂: By embedding the
catalyst deep inside the sensing element, the sensor has stronger
durability against silicone vapors and corrosive gases such as SO₂,
and is less likely to be poisoned and damaged by these substances,
thus ensuring the stability and reliability of long - term use.
- Compact Size and Low Cost: With a compact size of φ12.0 × 13.0 mm
and a weight of approximately 1.5 g, it is easy to install and
integrate into various detection devices. At the same time, its low
- cost feature makes it widely used in different application
scenarios.
