Requirements for an all-rounder

Made of sturdy aluminium, the LED aluminium profiles with cover ensure terrific results. The LED strip is protected and can be used optimally. The LED aluminium profile must be designed for a wide variety of applications. For example, a profile in the walkway and driveway area can withstand up to 1 tonne of weight. The LED aluminium profiles are usually available in lengths of 1m or 200cm. However, these can be easily cut to size at any time. The LED strips are laid in them and a cover is pushed in. Some LED aluminium profiles are specially designed for tiles and drywall. More on this below.

Which LED aluminium profile is right for me?

As always, this is not an easy question to answer. First you have to decide whether you need a surface-mounted profile or a recessed profile. A surface-mounted profile can be retrofitted at any time. A built-in profile is best planned before renovation or construction. How many metres do you need? Should it be flat or high? Pay attention to the correct width. Every LED strip has a different width. Please make sure that your desired profile is suitable for the strip width. Especially with surface-mounted profiles, the colour often plays a role. Most are anodised aluminium, i.e. silver. But you will also find white and black LED profiles in our range. On request, we can also have them painted in any other colour!

Which covers should I choose for my LED aluminium profiles?

With each of our LED aluminium profiles you will also find the matching covers, end caps, etc. Every pot has its lid. But not every cover fits every profile. Would you like a matt or milky cover? Then you will find these under the designation opal. Note that these always mean a little loss of light. Clear covers are often just as popular. Here you lose no light and see the typical LED chip points, if desired. Intermediate solutions are also available, which are only slightly opal. In this way, an optimal result is often achieved. While the profile is made of aluminium, the cover is made of plastic.
