Easy-To-Sand Polyester Putty Leveling High Efficiency Car Body Filler
Description:
- MJ-COAT Two pack polyester putty for car refinish to fill dents and surface irregularities of the car body before painting. It is suitable for steel.
- Selling, high quality, clog free, lightweight body filler is a great value with its smooth spreading and easy sanding features.
- Non-clog formula adds greater value in sandpaper savings.
- Packaged with yellow and red cream hardener.
PRODUCT USES:
TYPICAL SUBSTRATES:
- Steel.
- Aluminum.
- Fiberglass.
- Body filler.
- Wood.
- 2K primers .
- Galvanized and other zinc-coated steel.
- MJ-COAT can be used for cosmetic repairs.
- For structural repairs prone to high degrees of stress and flexibility, use an car piant repair product.
- For flexible plastics use Fiberglass body filler.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
- Clean and degrease the entire panel to be repaired with soap and water, followed by a mild cleaning solvent.
- Surface must be thoroughly dry before repairing or applying material.
- Keep the repair area small.
- Use 40-80 grit to remove the paint and featheredge.
DRYING/SANDING TIMES
- Allow the application of filler to cure 20 to 30 minutes.
- Sand with 80 grit sand paper and featheredge with 180 grit sandpaper or finer.
- Wait 1 hour before painting.
- Drying time depends on temperature and amount of hardener used.
- Optional: Apply a very thin layer of MJ-coat Glazing & Spot Putty to fill pinholes or small imperfections if necessary.
