Scalp Vein Needle 20G-25G Blue Black Green Winged Infusion Set Blood Collection Butterfly Needle
A winged infusion set—also possibly known as "butterfly" or "scalp vein" set—is a device specialized for venipuncture: i.e. for
accessing a superficial vein or artery for either intravenous injection or phlebotomy.
It consists, from front to rear, of a hypodermic needle, two bilateral flexible "wings", flexible small-bore transparent tubing (often 20–35 cm long), and lastly a connector (often female Luer).
This connector attaches to another device: e.g. syringe, vacuum tube holder/hub, or extension tubing from an infusion pump or gravity-fed infusion/transfusion bag/bottle.
- 20-25 Gauge needle. Its size and gauge allow medical and aesthetic practices to efficiently extract blood from superficial veins or infuse intravenous medication into a patients body.
- Single-use product. Each needle is sharp and smooth enough to minimize pain and discomfort. Its also sterilized and meant for single use to minimize the risk of contaminating or infecting patients during the injection.
- Safety features for administering needles. The butterfly needle's wings allow you to administer the needle into the skin with one hand. This can give you more control over how you administer extractions or infusions and provide you with better accuracy.

- Minimizes pain and discomfort. The sharp needle will minimise the resistance of the skin to the point of penetration. This will make the whole experience easier, safer and less painful for your patient.
- Stabilizes your injection. Durable plastic flaps allow the needle to remain in place after injection into a vein. This will reduce the amount of pain, tissue damage, and potential disruptions that can be caused if a patient moves during treatment.
- Minimizes the risk of damage from injections. Unsupported needles used for longer processes like extractions or infusions have a risk of vein collapse, bleeding, nerve injury, and other injuries. But with the butterfly needle's stabilizer, you can minimize movement and keep the needle within its place.
USE INSTRCUTIONS
1. Please tighten the interface between the hose and the needle seat 180 degrees clockwise to avoid leakage of vacuum or blood during blood collection;
2. Choose a thick and straight main vein and perform venipuncture. After successful puncture, blood return can be seen;
3. Puncture the tube plug vertically into the rubber plug;
4. Take the blood collection tube that has been collected and shake it at the same time. The shaking method is 180 degrees for 5-8 times;
5. The last tube is collected to a distance of 0.5ml from the rated blood collection volume, loosen the pressure on the cuff, pull out the venipuncture needle, let the blood in the hose flow into the blood collection tube, and then pull out the tube and plug the puncture needle;
6. After blood collection, put the blood collection needle in the recycling bin.
