Covid-19 Virus Sampling Kit 5ml-10ml Specimen Collection Tube Flocked Swab

INSTRCUTION FOR USE

1. Label tube of VTM legibly with the subject's medical record information.

2. Use a swab to sample in the nose or throat according to different sampling requirements.

• Nasopharyngeal specimen Tilt the subject's head back 70 degrees and insert the swab into the nostril parallel to the palate (not upwards) until resistance is encountered or the distance is equivalent to that from nostrils to outer opening of patient's ear indicating contact with nasopharynx. Leave the swab in place for several seconds to absorb secretions.Slowly remove the swab while rotating it. Wipe the other nostril with another swab, repeat previous procedure.
• Oropharyngeal specimen Use a throat swab to collect specimen by swabbing the patient’s posterior pharynx and tonsillar area (avoid the tongue).

3. Insert the swab into the tube of VTM, making certain that the swab tip is covered by the liquid in the tube.

4. Snap off at the break line on the shaft.

5. Securely tighten the cap on the tube of VTM and recheck to make certain it is labeled with patient's identifiers.

6. Store specimens refrigerated (2 - 8 °C) until ready to send to the laboratory. Specimens should be transported to the laboratory within 24 h under 2 - 8 °C.

NOTICE for use

1. This product is for in vitro diagnostic use ONLY.

2. This product is intended for using by trained and qualified laboratory personnel ONLY.

3. Gloves and masks should be worn for personal security when using.

4. Discarded specimen collection liquid should be treated by moist heat sterilization in advance.

5. Do not use the VTM if it is out of date, turns yellow or becomes leaked.

6. The product is disposal and is forbidden to reuse.

7. Do not use the product if the package is broken.

STORAGE

1. The virus sampling kit should be stored in cool dry place at 4℃-25℃;

2. Period of validity: 12 months. Pls refer to the outer box for the manufacture date and expiration date.
