L-feet is one of the most commonly used solar structure fix types for trapezoid roof or corrugated roof. The L-feet are secured to the roof crest by drilling self-tapping nails or wood screws (which is mainly in Australia). There is also a customized rubber pad between the L-feet and the rooftop for waterproofing. The reason why L-feet are fixed at the crest of the roof is that it is not easy to accumulate water during heavy rain, which can reduce the risk of roof leakage.

Use "L" Feet for basic rail installations or when mounting to a fixed surface where additional clearance from base material is not needed. 800mm to 1000mm use one L-feet for best results. It’s an economical mounting option for trapezoid roof or corrugated roof.

Although every company has L-feet, it is not considered as a universal standard products such as bolts, because different brands L-feet have different tooth spacing on the top, when it is used with different rails, not all can achieve the effect of tight matching, which will affect the strength of the structure to some extent.
