Engine exhaust emission
All excavators with 18 to 560kW diesel engines must comply with EU
Directive 2012/46/EU (as amended) when the engines first enter the
EU market. When the machines are cleared, the engines imported into
the EU will be put on the market. Engine compliance can be checked
as follows:
Open the hood and look for the nameplate on the engine. The
instruction requires that the board be visible in the machine. If
there is no visible data plate, the machine does not meet the
requirements.
Noise emissions
All excavators must be marked with their guaranteed sound power
levels. The maximum allowable guaranteed sound power level depends
on the engine power. Check the machine's marked power supply and
check the sound power limits in the table below.

Class B standards (safety standards)

The B2 standard is for relevant safety facilities (e.g., two-hand
controls, interlocking devices, pressure sensing devices, shields).
Class C standards (Machine safety standards)
are mainly used for the detailed safety requirements of a
particular type or class of machines.
Class C standard has the highest authority among these three
standards, that is, if the same machine adopts class A, B and C
standards at the same time, the requirements of class C standard
have the highest priority. Class C standards are usually also
called product standards. For example, EN201- Safety Requirements

specific requirements for all possible risks of injection molding
