Shaft parts are a common type of parts, its structure is a rotating
body, the length is generally greater than the diameter, in a
variety of mechanical equipment has been widely used to support
transmission parts, transfer torque and load.
Machining technical requirements for shaft parts
1. Dimensional accuracy.
The main surface of the shaft parts are often two types: one is the
outer circular journal with the inner ring of the bearing, that is,
the supporting journal, used to determine the position of the shaft
and the supporting shaft, the dimensional accuracy requirements are
high, usually IT 5~IT7; The other is the journal with all kinds of
transmission parts, that is, with the journal, its accuracy is
slightly lower, often IT6~IT9.
2, geometric shape accuracy.
Mainly refers to the journal surface, external conical surface,
cone hole and other important surface roundness, cylindricity. In
general, the error should be limited within the dimensional
tolerance range. For precision shaft, the geometric accuracy should
be specified separately on the part drawing.
3, mutual position accuracy.
Including the inner and outer surface, the coaxiality of the
important axial surface, the radial runout of the circle, the
perpendicularity of the important end facing the axis line, the
parallelism between the end faces, etc.
4. Surface roughness.
The machining surface of the shaft has the requirement of
roughness, which is generally determined according to the
possibility and economy of processing. The supporting journal is
usually 0.2~1.6μm, and the matching journal of transmission parts
is 0.4~3.2μm.
5, heat treatment, chamfering, chamfering and appearance
modification requirements.
