It is suitable for some weakly alkaline substances such as anhydrous Na₂CO₃ as a flux to melt samples, but it is not suitable for Na₂O₂, NaOH, etc. Strongly alkaline substances and acidic substances are used as fluxes to melt samples.The alumina crucible with a purity of 99.70% has good high-temperature insulation and mechanical strength in a redox atmosphere of 1650℃-1700℃, and the maximum temperature can reach 1800 in a short time ℃. Precautions for using crucibles

(1) It can be heated directly. It cannot be cooled suddenly after heating. Use a crucible support crane.

(2) Heat the crucible on an iron tripod.

(3) Stir when steaming; use residual heat to steam dry when nearly steaming.
