ISO High Quality Twin Screw Feed Rubber Strainer With Output Of 2000kg/Hour
Product Introduction:
The following is a detailed introduction to the rubber filter:
1. Working principle
The impurities in the rubber or recycled rubber are removed by the
pushing and conveying action of the screw. The screw in the barrel
generates thrust on the melt, so that when the rubber melt passes
through the filter screen of the filter head, the impurities in it
are filtered and intercepted, thereby improving the purity of the
rubber melt.
2. Structural composition
A. Screw: It is one of the key components of the rubber filter. Its
aspect ratio is generally about 5. Common screw forms include
double-headed, equal-depth, unequal-distance, etc. It generates
pushing force through rotation to push the rubber forward.
B. Barrel: It is used to accommodate the screw and rubber, provide
space for the rotation of the screw and the conveying of the
rubber, and at the same time play a certain role in restraining and
protecting the rubber.
C. Rubber filter head: It is installed at one end of the barrel,
and is equipped with a perforated plate and a filter screen. The
perforated plate is used to support the filter screen and serve as
a discharge port. Its aperture is generally 4-8mm, and it is an
expanding conical hole along the flow direction of the rubber.
D. Transmission device: Provides power for the rotation of the
screw, usually including motors, reducers, couplings and other
components, which can transmit the power of the motor to the screw
to make it rotate at a suitable speed.
E. Heating and cooling system: Equipped with a heating and cooling
system to control the temperature of the rubber. The heating
methods include electric heating, steam heating, etc., to ensure
that the rubber maintains a suitable temperature during the
filtration process, prevent the rubber from solidifying or
overheating, and ensure the filtration effect.
3. Application areas
A. Rubber product production: Used for slurry filtration in the
production process of rubber products such as rubber tubes, rubber
sheets, rubber pads, etc., to remove impurities and solid particles
and improve the quality of rubber products.
B. Rubber regeneration: In the process of rubber regeneration,
impurities and contaminants in the recycled rubber can be removed
to make the recycled rubber meet the quality requirements of the
product.
C. Rubber mixing: In the process of rubber mixing, it is used to
remove particulate impurities in the rubber slurry and maintain and
protect the normal operation of the rubber mixing equipment.
D. Rubber blending: In the process of rubber blending, impurities
and particles in the blended slurry can be removed to improve the
quality of the blended slurry.
E. Rubber latex production: used to remove impurities and particles
in latex and improve the purity and stability of latex.
4. Operation precautions
A. Preheating: The head and body must be preheated to the specified
temperature before filtering to ensure that the rubber can flow and
filter smoothly.
B. Motor load control: The maximum motor load cannot exceed the
specified value, generally 160 amperes, to prevent motor overload
damage.
C. Temperature control: During normal filtration, the maximum
filter rubber temperature shall not exceed 140°C, especially the
maximum chloroprene rubber temperature shall not exceed 105°C, to
avoid problems such as scorching of rubber due to excessive
temperature.
D. Rubber material selection: The scorched mixed rubber shall not
be filtered, and the filtered mixed rubber shall not have scorched
particles; cold rubber shall not be filtered. If cold rubber needs
to be filtered, it must be softened before filtering.
E. Prevent debris from entering: Do not add metal and other debris
to the rubber filter to avoid damaging the equipment or affecting
the filtering effect.
F. Safe operation: It is strictly forbidden to plug the rubber into
the feeder by hand, or to take the rubber out by hand during
operation to prevent accidents.
5. Maintenance and care
A. Daily maintenance: Regularly clean the dust and debris on the
surface of the equipment, check whether the connection of each
component is firm, whether there is looseness, leakage, etc.
B. Regular inspection: Regularly conduct comprehensive inspection
and adjustment of the electrical system, transmission system, and
lubrication system to ensure that the equipment is in good working
condition. Check the blockage of the filter, clean or replace the
filter in time to ensure the filtration efficiency.
C. Replacement of wearing parts: Pay attention to the wear of
wearing parts such as screws, barrels, and filters, and replace
them in time according to the degree of wear to ensure the normal
operation and filtration effect of the equipment.

Machine Features:
1. Factors affecting the working efficiency of rubber filter
A-Screw speed: The screw is the key component that pushes the
rubber forward. A higher screw speed can speed up the conveying
speed of the rubber, thereby improving the filtration efficiency.
For example, in some industrial applications, the screw speed is
increased from 30 rpm to 60 rpm, and the filtration volume of the
rubber may increase exponentially. However, the screw speed cannot
be too high, otherwise it will cause the rubber temperature to be
too high, and may even cause scorching, affecting the quality of
the rubber and the normal operation of the equipment.
B-Filter mesh number and area: The mesh number of the filter
determines the size of the impurity particles that can be filtered
out. The higher the mesh number, the higher the filtration
accuracy, but it will also increase the resistance of the rubber to
pass through. If the filter area is large enough, the rubber can
have more channels to pass through, which can effectively reduce
the resistance and improve the filtration efficiency. For example,
doubling the filter area may increase the filtration speed by about
50% - 70% at the same pressure and screw speed.
C-Properties of the rubber: Different types of rubber (such as
natural rubber, synthetic rubber) and the viscosity of the rubber
will affect its fluidity in the filter. Rubber with lower viscosity
flows more smoothly in the rubber filter and has relatively higher
filtration efficiency. For example, if a natural rubber compound is
mixed with an appropriate softener, its viscosity will be reduced,
and the filtration speed in the rubber filter will be much faster
than when no softener is added.
D-Degree of automation of the equipment: A rubber filter with a
high degree of automation can achieve functions such as continuous
feeding, automatic discharge and filter cleaning. For example, a
rubber filter with an automatic feeding device can maintain the
continuity of the rubber supply and reduce the efficiency reduction
caused by feeding interruption. At the same time, some advanced
rubber filters can automatically detect the blockage of the filter
and promptly clean or replace it to ensure the continuous and
efficient filtration process.
2. Work efficiency measurement indicators
A. Filtration volume per unit time: usually measured by the weight
(kg/hour) or volume (cubic meters/hour) of the rubber filtered per
hour. For example, a small rubber filter may have a filtration
volume of 50-100 kg/hour, while a large industrial filter can have
a filtration volume of thousands of kg/hour.
B. Impurity removal rate: This is an important indicator to measure
the filtration quality and also an indirect factor to reflect the
work efficiency. If the impurity removal rate is high, it means
that the rubber filter can effectively purify the rubber, reduce
the number of rework, and thus improve the overall work efficiency.
For example, the impurity removal rate is required to reach more
than 98%, which can ensure the quality of subsequent rubber
products while ensuring the filtration accuracy and reduce the
defective rate caused by impurities.
