The rubber dock fender vulcanizing molding machine is a device specially used to produce rubber dock fenders. The following is a detailed introduction:
I. Structural composition
1. Frame: Provides overall support and stability for the equipment,
usually welded from high-strength steel. The design of the frame
needs to take into account the workload and running stability of
the equipment to ensure that there will be no shaking or
deformation during the vulcanization process.
2. Mold system:
- Upper mold and lower mold: Designed and manufactured according to
the shape and size of the rubber dock fender, the upper and lower
molds are combined to form a closed cavity for accommodating rubber
materials for vulcanization molding.
- Heating device: Installed inside or around the mold, transfers
heat to the rubber material through conduction, convection or
radiation to make it reach the temperature required for
vulcanization. Common heating devices include electric heating
pipes, steam heating plates, etc.
3. Heating system:
- Heat source: It can be electric heating, steam heating or hot oil
heating. Electric heating usually uses electric heating tubes or
electromagnetic induction heating, which has the advantages of fast
heating and high temperature control accuracy; steam heating uses
the thermal energy of steam and has relatively low cost; hot oil
heating provides heat by circulating hot oil, which is suitable for
high-temperature vulcanization.
- Temperature control system: including components such as
temperature sensors, controllers and actuators, which are used to
monitor and control the temperature of the mold in real time to
ensure that the vulcanization process is carried out within the set
temperature range.
4. Pressure system:
- Hydraulic cylinder or pneumatic cylinder: Provide the pressure
required for vulcanization, so that the rubber material fits
tightly in the mold and promotes the vulcanization reaction. The
pressure can be adjusted according to different product
requirements.
- Pressure control system: By adjusting the pressure of the
hydraulic or pneumatic system, the vulcanization pressure can be
accurately controlled. The pressure sensor feeds back the pressure
value in real time, and the controller adjusts it according to the
set value.
5. Control system:
- Electrical control system: It is composed of electrical
components such as PLC (programmable logic controller), touch
screen, relays, contactors, etc. to realize automatic control of
the equipment. The operator can set the vulcanization parameters
such as temperature, pressure, time, etc. through the touch screen
and monitor the operating status of the equipment.
- Safety protection system: including emergency stop button, safety
door, limit switch, etc., to ensure the safety of the equipment
during operation. When an abnormal situation occurs, the safety
protection system can stop the equipment operation in time to avoid
accidents.
2. Working principle
1. Put the pre-mixed rubber material into the lower mold.
2. Start the equipment, and use the pressure system to lower the upper mold and close the mold with the lower mold to form a closed cavity.
3. The heating system starts to work and heats the mold to the set vulcanization temperature.
4. Under a certain temperature and pressure, the rubber material undergoes a vulcanization reaction and gradually solidifies and forms.
5. After the set vulcanization time, the heating system stops working, the pressure system makes the upper mold rise, open the mold, and take out the vulcanized rubber dock fender.
3. Advantages

IV. Scope of application
Rubber dock fender vulcanization molding machine is widely used in ports, docks, ships and other fields to produce various types of rubber dock fenders, such as D-type fenders, drum fenders, super arch fenders, etc. These fenders can effectively absorb the impact force when the ship is berthing and protect the safety of docks and ships.
Characteristic:
1. The machine is frame structure with below pressing form
(upwards). Under the hydraulic pressure, the piston plunger ascends
to make hot plate close for getting pressure, while the piston
plunger descends (namely hot plate turning on) by deadweight of hot
plate, platform and piston plunger to drive working fluid to fuel
reserve tank to achieve the aim of descending (namely turning on).
