1734-OB8 Series C Point I/O module by Allen-Bradley is a Series C modular digital DC output module from the 1734 Point I/O system designed to enhance the I/O capability of the Point I/O control system. This device is attached to a communication interface module. It requires a mounting base for installation and a removable terminal block (RTB sold separately) for field-side wiring.

The 1734-OB8 Series C module has 8 sourcing output points maximum that are individually and electronically fused for enhanced protection. It is installed on a mounting base, and it draws backplane and field BUS power from the mounting base. The 1734-OB8 Series C module has a nominal on-state voltage of 24 Volts DC and an on-state voltage range of 10 to 28.8 Volts DC. It has a maximum output current rating of 1 Amp per channel and 3 Amps of aggregate current rating per module.
