According to the different deoxidation methods used in the steel making process (melting, ingot casting, and plate solidification), mild steels can be roughly divided into boiling steel and aluminum calm steel.Boiling steel is deoxidized by carbon, while calm steel is deoxidized by aluminum. The difference between the two steels lies in their carbon, oxygen and aluminum content. The content of oxygen and carbon in boiling steel is large, and most of them are non-metallic inclusions. Moreover, the nitrogen in the boiling steel is not fixed, while the nitrogen in the aluminum calm steel is fixed by aluminum. Therefore, the aging deterioration of boiling steel (the phenomenon of low tensile strain and total elongation during forming) is difficult to avoid, while the aluminum calm steel is easy to form a crystalline collection structure and has the desired plastic anisotropy in deep drawing. Therefore, the steel plate with high processing performance requirements (SPCD and SPCE, etc.) should use aluminum sedation steel plate, but the production cost of boiling steel plate is low and easy to keep the surface beautiful, so it is still used more.In addition to the above-mentioned identification of the properties of the two plates by composition, the metallographic identification can also be made by comparing the grain formation states. In addition, the grain size can be controlled by the annealing conditions of the steel plate, and the boiling steel plate is easy to vary greatly. In particular, in order to improve the formability of boiling steel and the processing of enamel products (such as not easy to bubble), it is decarbonized annealing, made into coarsely grained and soft cold rolled steel plate. However, if the grain is too coarsened, the forming limit of spinning may be reduced.
