What is PCBA?
PCBA stands for Printed Circuit Board Assembly, it refers to
circuit boards assembled with electronic components such as diode,
transmitter, capacitors, resistors, and ICs with SMT, DIP, and
soldering assembly technology.
All electronic devices have PCBA, and electronic devices are
everywhere.
They range from smartphones to microwave ovens and from laptops to
cars.
Surface-Mount Technology(SMT)
It is a technology that mounts electronic components on the surface
of a PCB directly.
SMT is suitable for assembling tiny and sensitive components such
as transistors onto the circuit board.
This technology helps to save more space as there is no need to
make drilling that also benefits to speed up the production
progress. In addition, by applying surface-mount tech, the
electronic components can be assembled on the surface closely, so
both sides of the PCB can be utilized.
Through-Hole Technology(THT)
Another method is Thru-Hole Technology, which is used by people
earlier than SMT.
THT is a technology that the electronic components are plugged into
the circuit boards through holes, and manufacturers need to solder
the extra part of wire on the board.
It takes more time than SMT, but it still has some advantages.
For example, by using through-hole technology, the electronic
components are bonded to the board strongly.
Therefore, this technology is suitable for large electronic
components such as coils and capacitors, which can withstand high
power, high voltage, and mechanical stress.

Q: What is the shipping cost of assembly order? Is it included in
the quotation?
A: It's impossible to estimate shipping weight of assembled boards
at quote stage. We'll inform you the shipping price and send over
payment link once producton is completed.
Q: What is the expected lead time for a PCBA order?
A: Our standard lead time for PCB assembly orders is around 3-4
weeks, PCB manufatcuring, component sourcing, and assembly will be
finished within the lead time.
Q: Where is your target markets?
A: The printed circuit board we manufactured are mainly exported to
foreign countries, currently, more than 95% of our electronic board
products are shipped to Europe, North America.
Q: How fast do you provide quotes?
A: During normal business hours, Monday-Friday 10am – 6pm, we
normally provide quotes within 5-45 minutes. However, sometimes, if
the board is complex, we like to send it to our CAM department to
verify that we can build the board properly, which adds some time
to the process. If you submit your info after hours, one of our
sales professionals will provide you with a quote the next business
day.
Q: How to place an order?
A: Send us the PO with request (Final project files confirmed) and
we will confirm with PI.
The order will be entered into our order system on same day.
Full payment complete,then order confirmed by our accouting
department.
The order will be proceed accordingly by our purchasing system.
Sample or photos offered for approval.
Balance payment complete,shipment arranged and tracking will be
offered via email.
