The deck uses a Premium German card stock with a black core layer. Very slippery, very versatile, plus a unique coating on the cards, they are popular for casino clubs, magicians and cards collectors .

A layered playing card stock is produced by putting two of sheets of card together and laminating them into one sheet. The laminate makes the playing card much stronger and more durable than normal paper and card. Between the two layers, there was an extra black (or white, grey, blue) sheet in the middle of the two white sheets to make sure there is no possibility of any show through. This playing card material has a smooth finish and is a standard playing card thickness.
