Product Description:
The GE DS200GDPAG1ALF is a High Frequency Power Supply Board designed exclusively for GE’s EX2000 excitation system, delivering a power output of 600–700 watts. Its core advantage lies in dual-input flexibility: it can draw power from both alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) sources, adapting to diverse operational environments in excitation system setups.
Equipped with a suite of specialized components to ensure stable
power conversion and distribution, the board includes: an input
rectifier and filter, a buck chopper regulator, a 27 kHz inverter,
an output transformer, a 120 V DC power supply, a dedicated control
power supply, control signal level circuits, and protective
circuits. It also features intuitive LED/neon indicators for status
monitoring: PWR IN, READY, 120 V DC FUSE, and HI VOLT SHORT.
For integration and maintenance, it offers 12 plug connectors + 2
stab-on connectors for versatile external connections, three
grounding screws, integrated fuses, and test points.
Key Features:
Dual-Input Flexibility: Accepts both AC and DC input power, eliminating reliance on a
single power source and adapting to varying operational conditions
in EX2000 excitation systems.
Comprehensive Power Conversion Chain: Combines rectifier/filter, buck chopper, 27 kHz inverter, and
transformers to convert, regulate, and distribute power — covering
all critical power needs of the excitation system.
Multi-Layered Protection: Integrates protective circuits and fuses, plus a dedicated HI VOLT
SHORT indicator (N1) — safeguarding the board and connected EX2000
components from electrical damage.
Intuitive Status Monitoring: LED/neon indicators provide real-time visual feedback on power
input, operational readiness, fuse status, and fault conditions —
simplifying quick checks and troubleshooting.
Versatile Connectivity & Grounding: 14 total connectors enable seamless integration with external
subsystems; three grounding screws ensure safe charge dissipation,
reducing electrical hazards and enhancing system stability.
Maintenance-Friendly Design: Built-in test points allow easy access to key signals/voltages for
diagnostics, while standardized connectors and clear grounding
design streamline installation and repair in industrial settings.
