The GE IS200DAMCG1A is a Gate Drive Amplifier board, a critical component in GE’s low-voltage Innovation Series drive systems, serving as the interface between control racks and power-switching IGBTs. Its primary role is to amplify gate drive signals, ensuring precise on/off control of IGBTs to regulate power flow in drive systems. Designed for high-power applications, it supports up to 690V and 1700A, making it integral to industrial motor and inverter operations.

Featuring direct connections to IGBT gates, collectors, and emitters, it links to the control rack’s BPIA board via cables. Four LEDs provide visual status updates—labeled UON, UFF, LON, and LFF—indicating IGBT operation and fault conditions for quick diagnostics.
