The IS200ERBPG1ACA is an Exciter Regulator Backplane from General Electric, part of the EX2100 Series in GE Excitation Control Systems. As the ERBP, it connects all mounted printed circuit boards, with front power connectors for external boards and fan power. Not VME compliant, it uses 3U/6U VME 96/128-pin DIN connectors for board mounting and power distribution. It has a board ID serial bus for installed boards, which have ID devices programmed with serial numbers, types, and revisions, interfacing with slot controls. It also has master selection jumpers for simplex/redundant applications.​

Features include various control interfaces (analog/digital I/O), communication ports (RS-485, Ethernet, Modbus), a power supply section, protection circuits against faults, monitoring/diagnostics, redundancy for critical use, modularity for easy maintenance, compatibility with multiple models, and remote control capability.
