42" Black Square Gooseneck Pedestal (Pad Mount) 42-3-12
This sturdy, heavy-duty, 42" pad mount card reader pedestal for cars and pedestrians is constructed entirely of steel with a black powder coat finish, making it the ideal solution for highly-corrosive conditions. It is capable of mounting cameras, intercoms, keypads, entry/exit buttons, biometric readers, telephone entry systems, housings and many other access control devices and is most often installed for automatic gate entry and exit, parking lot and perimeter access applications.
It includes a face plate with universal hole patterns, heavy duty base plate and a sliding cover plate to hide the mounting bolts that secure the base. The neck is cut and welded to form an architectural design, while also allowing wiring to easily pass from the ground, through the pedestal, and into the access control device - making installation quick and simple. While most pedestals are made with 0.074" wall tubes, this pedestal features a 0.120" wall tube (62 percent more stainless steel) and is designed to withstand abuse from heavy weathering and vandalism; even passing our facewind testing protocol, determining that it is capable of surviving sustained Category 5 hurricane force winds of 157 mph.
