In order to conduct real-time and comprehensive monitoring of the geometric accuracy of the vehicle body, online measurement is generally used on the main line. On-line measurement is to use laser technology to measure the geometry of the car body, compare the measured data with the standard data and feedback the comparison results. In this way, 100% monitoring of the geometric accuracy of the vehicle body is realized. Online measurement is divided into robot type and fixed side head type. The robot type is suitable for measuring multiple car models on the same line, and the fixed side head type has high precision, but generally only for one car model.


Main line three mainly completes the welding of the canopy. Some of the welding of the canopy adopts resistance positioning welding, but the more advanced technology at present is laser brazing. Brazing is a welding method that uses the solder with a melting point lower than that of the metal to be welded to fill the weld gap by capillary action and then diffuses with the wire to achieve connection. The main difference between brazing and fusion welding is that only the solder melts during brazing, and the welded metal does not melt (the welded metal melts during welding), and the liquid solder enters between the two weldments by wetting and capillary action. In the gap between them, atomic bonding is achieved by interdiffusion of liquid solder and solid metal.


In order to ensure the beauty of the laser brazed seam, the main line three will set up a special station for automatic grinding of the weld seam. This station can perform tack welding and laser brazing on the front and rear ends of the canopy at the same time. A robot equipped with grinding sheets on the left and right grinds the weld seam at a set trajectory and speed. After the grinding is completed, the car body is sent to the next station for automatic inspection of the weld seam quality, and is displayed in the delivery area of the main line three car bodies The test results are displayed on the screen, and the workers can judge whether the weld needs to be repaired or not through the test results. At the same time, the workers will also visually inspect the exterior surface of the car body and the laser brazed seam. For the car body with unqualified exterior surface, the workers will mark it on the car body and remind the adjustment line employees to repair it. If the laser brazed seam is unqualified It needs to be repaired by manual TIG welding in the delivery area of the wire body. There are serious defects on the appearance surface or laser brazing seam, and when the repair time is long, the body needs to be repaired off the assembly line. The qualified body will be transported to the next production line body.
