Product Details
                                        Haminol 1130 is a methanol/n-butanol ified melamine-formaldehyde
resin with a particularly low molecular weight
"Haminol 1130 is a methanol/n-butanol ified melamine-formaldehyde
resin with an exceptionally low molecular weight and viscosity and
a solids content of 98%. It is designed for low-emission,
high-solids coatings. The high monomer activity results in a low
tendency to self-cross-link and thus allows for excellent
flexibility in coatings. It offers the combined advantages of
methyl and butyl resins, i.e. excellent adhesion and leveling. The
balance of hydrophilic and lipophilic groups in "Haminol 1130",
which has a very low free formaldehyde content, allows for high
solids coatings to be obtained at low temperatures. Therefore, this
product can have the combined properties of both methyl and butyl
resins.
