1. Do batteries expire if not used?
Unfortunately, yes. All batteries have an expiration date mentioned
on the packaging and on the cell itself. The battery may still work
after that date, but with minor performance.
2. Why do batteries only last 3 years?
For example, after 1000 full cycles, a cell may only hold 80% of
its original capacity. It keeps working until its capacity drops to
60%, maybe 2000 cycles later. This makes the risk of a sudden
battery death low. This explains why most batteries become
inefficient around 3 years of regular use.
3. What kills battery life span?
Your battery drains much faster when it's hot, even when not in
use. This kind of drain can damage your battery. You don't need to
teach your phone the battery's capacity by going from full charge
to zero, or zero to full. We recommend you occasionally drain your
battery to under 10% and then charge it fully overnight.
4. What is the difference between wall mount and rack mount?
Rack form — Rack mount refers to floor standing racks while wall
mount rack intends to be attached to the wall. Compared to rack
mount, wall mount rack more tends to be space-saving.
