DC Resistivity and Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) are
surface geophysical methods in which an electrical current is
injected into the ground through two electrodes and voltages on the
surface are measured revealing the direction and amount of current
flow in the subsurface. The data is used to image the subsurface
resistivity.
Observed measurements of the current and voltages are converted
into “apparent resistivity,” a weighted average of the resistance
of earth materials to current flow. Variations in fluid saturation,
fluid resistivity, rock type, porosity, and permeability affect
resistivity values and are often revealed with electrical
resistivity methods.

- The over-voltage protection of receiving part up to 1200V which can
protect the instrument on any mistake operation.Transmitting unit
supports over-voltage protection, over-current protection and AB
open-circuit protection as well as DC high voltage reverse
connection protection.
- Bluetooth technology, wireless remote control: Bluetooth technology
enables the tablet PC to control the WDA-1/WDA-1B mainframe in 10
meters. It enables all operations as set parameters, start
measurement, display result and save data more easily.
- Tablet PC operate, powerful function:all operations as parameters
setting, data display, data storage, curve drawing all be finished
on the tablet PC, easy and visiblefor filed data procession.
- Grounding resistance check: this function enables the operator to
know the ground condition of each electrode.
Fault diagnoses: the diagnose program quickly detects fault and
finds the damaged part.
