Borehole inclinometer (Inclinometer) is an instrument used to measure underground inclination angle.

It mainly consists of an inclinometer probe and a data logger.

The inclinometer probe can measure the underground inclination angle along the direction of the borehole by placing it in the borehole. Data loggers are used to record and store measurements, often allowing data readout and analysis at ground or remote locations.

Borehole inclinometers are widely used in civil engineering, construction engineering and geological exploration and other fields, such as monitoring the deformation of soil, evaluating the stability of tunnels, bridges, buildings and other structures, and predicting natural disasters such as earthquakes risk.
