Pick-up PE mark buoy
Design Features:
1.
Core The core is manufactured by portioning resilient polyethylene
foam or closed cell EVA foam and thermally laminating each layer
evenly and continuously. The process offers a stronger bond than
foam alone and eliminates the use of adhesives that can break down
with prolonged use. The use of a polyethylene foam core ensures the
buoy will not absorb water even if the skin is punctured, extending
the life of the product and reducing maintenance costs. The
resilient material allows
to purchase only high impact fenders.
2. Leather
The core is surrounded by a sprayed coating of high-performance
polyurethane elastomer. Polyurethane elastomer is chosen for the
leather for its high resistance to abrasion, fatigue and UV
degradation and is far more durable than the polyethylene materials
used to construct rotomolded buoys.
3. Steel Wok and End Piece
Consists of a central steel tube with longitudinal braces and
external flanges for load distribution at each end.The rotating
assembly, certified to 10 tons SWL, with handles at each end, is
routed through the center tube.
All stud fasteners are hot dip galvanized. Steel frame to be
painted with coal tar epoxy paint.
