UHMWPE Pipe With a wear resistance that is 4 to 7 times higher than Q235 steel or 10 times higher than HDPE (PE100) pipe under the same operating conditions, UHMWPE pipe offers among the significantly longer service life under most operating conditions.
Settling-free Due to its very smooth surface and its self-lubricating properties, the UHMWPE pipe has significantly better anti-calcification properties than any other pipe on the market today. The non-stick factor that shows its strength in the maritime sector and prevents the formation of barnacles.

Better trade-off between wear resistance and weight reduction (0.93 SG) means the time between pipe changes and/or rotations can be increased while reducing the limitation of lifting equipment installation work and excavation requirements.
Reduced Pumping Costs
In addition to the above benefits, UHMWPE pipe also offers significant cost savings due to increased pumping capacity. With a surface roughness of 0.00022 mm, the UHMWPE tube is extremely smooth and has better resulting properties than PTFE (Teflon). Quantify by example, UHMWPE has a coefficient of friction of 0.05 compared to 0.28 for HDPE or 0.58 for steel (ISO 8295).
This means less friction, less pressure loss and much less energy required to achieve the same result.
Chemical and Corrosion Resistance
With chemical resistance surpassed only by PTFE (Teflon), UHMWPE hose offers better service life than other hose products in acidic or corrosive applications below 85°C.
