The GE Fanuc IC200MDL140 Versamax AC Input Module is an 8-point discrete input module belonging to the Versamax Modular I/O and Control System. This module receives 2-state AC signals from sensors, pushbuttons, and switches and it returns these signals to the CPU as 8-bit discrete inputs.

The IC200MDL140 Input Module’s inputs are arranged in a single group of 8, and each input point operaties as either a positive logic input or sourcing discrete input. The IC200MDL140 Input Module is installed on the Versamax backplane by using an I/O base carrier. The Versamax I/O base carriers have interposing terminals and a snap-in design that provides maximum wiring flexibility as well as support for hot module insertion and removal.
