Rapid CNC Aluminum Parts Tolerance ± 0.01 Mm Rapid Prototypes And Low Volume Production Good Quality

This CNC turned and milled aluminum product was used for an adjustable three-legged stand for supporting a camera, rapid prototypes were manufactured to test how it worked and looked before low volume production, scratches and other second finishing were not allowed for the CNC finished parts before the final surface finishing of sandblasting and anodizing nature, the final product must not only work great, but more importantly look great as well.

CNC High Precision Turning is a widely used manufacturing process using a stationary cutting tool to remove unwanted material from a high-speed rotating workpiece. The workpiece is usually held in a chuck and rotating fast while the cutting tool moves along the length of the workpiece to create the desired shapes and features.

CNC Precision Milling is a type of conventional manufacturing technology that uses the high-speed rotating cutting tool to precisely remove the unwanted material from a solid workpiece. The cutting tool is usually held in a spindle and moving along multiple axes (3,4,5 axes) to create various structures, shapes and features. Here are some key features and advantages of CNC milling:

High Precision: CNC milling are capable of producing highly precise and accurate parts with tight tolerances, often within 0.01 to 0.1 mm, or more tighter one. This makes CNC milling ideal for applications that require high precision and accuracy, such as defense, aerospace, medical devices, and automotive, etc.

Good Versatility: CNC milling can work great with lots of solid materials, including metals, plastics, composites, and wood. It can also manufacture a variety of shapes, structures and features, from simple holes and small slots to complex contours and large curves.

Fully Automation: CNC milling machines can be fully automatic, this means it can work for a intended time without human intervention. This reduces the cost for manual labor and increases efficiency and productivity.

Compared with Additive Manufacturing (AM) technologies for Rapid Prototyping & Manufacturing, CNC Machining is a great choice for Rapid Prototypes manufacturing for its real and cheap raw materials, high precision, wide material and surface finishing options, usually economical manufacturing cost, and fast turnaround. Here are part of the benefits of CNC machined prototypes:

Wide Material Options. So far the material options for AM technologies are relatively limited, such as ABS, PP, PMMA, Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Titanium with all simulated material properties, while CNC machining works nearly all common solid plastics, metals, woods, composite materials, etc.

Wide Surface Finishing Options. Due to material property features, AM technologies produced prototypes can not apply some surface finishing techniques for some materials, such as chrome plating finishing for AM ABS prototypes which will lead to deformation because of its weak high-temperature resistance.

Economical Production Cost. Material takes the majority of AM prototypes manufacturing cost, and AM technology simulated materials cost much much more than its relatively raw materials used by CNC machining, such as CNC ABS material costs round 3 USD per kilogram, and AM simulated ABS one costs round 500 USD per kilogram and even more some years ago, it is around 136 times higher than CNC one. So more material involved for the prototypes, more competitive price the CNC machining delivers.

Quality and Service are the true reasons that HONKIA survives and grows up in the market since our establishment. We saw some of our competitors are making money by playing around the quality and then lose the market faster than we think. We do know that is not a sustainable business pattern.

Over ten years of experience in working with global people from different countries and cultures, we are clear what the worldwide customers need, care and expect when they do business with China, and do know what could and should be done for Made in China to better work with and serve the people who purchase from China.

How does HONKIA compare to other suppliers on price?

Compared to other Chinese suppliers, we choose not to compete on price but to offer the high level of quality, rapid response, and professional results. That’s why some customers cooperate with us for many years, compared with the price, they need a reliable partner to avoid serious losses caused by annoying after-sales service or even the trouble of finding no one.

What if I am not completely satisfied with the parts I receive?

HONKIA will free remake or amend the returned parts that you are not completely satisfied, or refund the full arrived payment, though this is rarely happened in the past. Any disputes based on a subjective or unilateral determination shall be discussed and negotiated to reach a reasonable result. Our continuing business relies on earning your confidence in our ability to meet and exceed the reasonable expectations.
