2017 Aluminium Alloy Sheet Plate For Decoration Construction Roofing Industry
Aluminium/aluminum and its alloys are essential materials in various industries such as aerospace, marine, construction, and automobile.
Aluminium/aluminum 2017 alloy is a heat treatable wrought alloy with intermediate strength. It is stronger than aluminium /aluminum 2011, but harder to machine. Workability is fair with ductility and formability better that aluminium / aluminum 2014. Arc and resistance weldability of this alloy are satisfactory while corrosion resistance is fair.
Aluminium is mostly made up of aluminium oxide, while 6061 contains magnesium and silicon as well as other metals. This difference in composition gives each metal different properties that make them better suited for different applications.
To be called Aluminum 2017, an alloy must have a chemical composition that consists of: Al 91.5-95.5% Cu 3.5-4.5% Mn 0.4-1%.
